26 km of fine sandy beach…

Fine sand, crystal-clear waters, breathtaking scenery… The Pays Fouesnantais offers a coastline as varied as it is seductive. From quiet coves to large family beaches, you’ll find a real mosaic of places to swim, relax, play and glide. With several Blue Flag beaches, a naturist area and famous water sports spots, the Breton Riviera is a great place to enjoy the sea in complete peace of mind.

Blue Flag beaches, a guarantee of quality and safety

Five of the region’s beaches have been awarded the Pavillon Bleu label: Cap-Coz, Maner Coat Clevarec, Kerambigorn, Kerler in Fouesnant and the Trez beach in Bénodet. This international label rewards water quality, environmental commitment and the facilities provided.
The water at these beaches is beyond reproach, with lifeguards on duty during the season and services designed for everyone, including people with reduced mobility (especially at Cap-Coz).
Lazy afternoons, sand castles with the kids and walks with your feet in the water are all yours, in an unspoilt environment.

Beaches accessible to all

The Breton Riviera is committed to ensuring that everyone can enjoy the sea to the full. Several beaches are designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility (PRM), with adapted equipment such as the tiralo and the hippocampus, making it easier to swim in complete safety.

  • In Fouesnant, the Cap-Coz and Kerambigorn beaches are both accessible, with amphibious wheelchairs available.
  • At La Forêt-Fouesnant, Kerleven beach is supervised in summer, and equipped to accommodate PRMs throughout the summer period (tiralo and hippocampus available at the lifeguard station).
  • Finally, in Bénodet, the large Trez beach also offers easy access, with a tiralo provided by the lifeguards.

Because the sea is a pleasure to be shared, accessibility is one of our destination’s commitments.

Water sports for young and old alike

The Breton Riviera is also a real playground for water sports enthusiasts.
In Fouesnant, Bénodet and La Forêt-Fouesnant, the calm waters are ideal for paddle boarding, kayaking and light sailing.
Looking for more thrills? The steady winds and wide open spaces attract kite surfers and windsurfers.
Nautical clubs welcome young and old for courses, introductions or simple hire, always in a friendly and safe atmosphere.
And for an unforgettable adventure, head for the Glénan archipelago, a marine jewel accessible by boat from the coast: turquoise lagoon, white sand… an air of the end of the world on the horizon.
