An invitation to escape
In the south of Finistère, between Bénodet and La Forêt-Fouesnant, the coastline of the Breton Riviera reveals its most discreet treasures. As well as immense beaches as far as the eye can see, there are a succession of small coves nestling between the rocks, cradled by pine trees and opening out onto the Atlantic. The names of these sandy bays already evoke the poetry of the place: les Oiseaux, les Pyramides, Lanroz, Lantecoste, la Roche Percée or Bot Conan… invitations to dream and tranquillity.
Between the points of Beg-Meil, Mousterlin and Cap-Coz, the coast is broken up into coves of all sizes. Some are dozens of metres long, others are tiny, accessible only on foot or by sea. People come here for a quiet swim, a reading break, a picnic facing the ocean, or simply for the pleasure of feeling alone in the world.
At high or low tide, these coves are havens of peace, perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle, as a family, as a couple or on your own. And for those who like to stretch their legs, the coastal path (GR34) links the coves together for an iodised, panoramic walk.
