Rain on holidays? So what! Here, we’ve got more than one idea for a good time.

When the clouds do roll in, we take the opportunity to discover the Breton Riviera in a whole new way: well-being, culture, gourmet delights or family leisure activities… we get off the beaten track to enjoy Brittany from the inside out.


#1 Les Balnéides swimming pool Fouesnant

With its two pools, water games and 75 m waterslide, Les Balnéides swimming pool in Bénodet is a real water playground. Sports swimming, aquagym classes, introductory courses or family relaxation: there’s something for everyone. Younger children will love the paddling pool, massage jets and waterfall, supervised by lifeguards.

#2 Cinémarine cinema Bénodet

With its two cosy 110- and 310-seat cinemas, the Cinémarine welcomes you all year round for 2D or 3D screenings in Dolby digital. Previews, films for all ages, PRM access, hearing loops and booster seats for children: everything you need for a successful cinema outing!

#3 François Garrec Biscuit Factory Bénodet

Since 1967, the Biscuiterie Garrec has been perpetuating Breton know-how: galettes, palets, kouign-amann, crêpes… To discover in its large shop of regional products and gift ideas.
There are also free guided tours of the artisanal production process, from kneading to baking.

#4 The Seaside Museum Bénodet

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the early days of seaside tourism, with a 1930s beach, reconstructed hotel, old films, models and toys from the era. A permanent exhibition full of charm, like an album of memories.
Every year, local artists exhibit on the ground floor around the theme of the sea.

#5 Pandaventure indoor play area Bénodet

Dive into the world of the jungle and let your children explore giant games: slides, trampolines, indoor tree climbing, pedal-powered helicopters, ball pools, climbing courses, electric motorbikes… A real paradise for moving, jumping and having fun for hours! 1000 m² of indoor adventure for all the family!

#6 Le Manoir du Stang La Forêt-Fouesnant

Immerse yourself in the world of Manoir du Stang in La Forêt-Fouesnant, a little Breton jewel nestling in a remarkable natural setting. Discover it as a family or with friends, with its heritage, games and walks.

Throughout the year, the association “Il était une fois au Stang” (Once upon a time in the Stang) brings the site to life with events such as storytelling walks, concerts, markets, fest-noz and medieval weekends.

#7 La Cidrerie Kermao Gouesnac'h

Between Quimper and Bénodet, the Cidrerie de Kermao opens the doors of its organic family farm, run by Brieug and Marine. Here, every bottle comes from their orchards, which boast some fifteen local varieties of cider apple.

#8 The Biscuit factory in Bénodet Bénodet

Watch the traditional Breton pastries being made: kouign amann, Breton cake, far…
More than 20 specialities are on offer for tasting: fine galettes, palets, madeleines, salted butter caramels… a real festival of flavours!

The shop is also packed with local produce and a generous cellar of Breton ciders, beers and liqueurs.

#9 The little tourist train Bénodet

Climb aboard Bénodet’s Petit Train Touristique for a 40-minute guided tour of the resort and its most beautiful panoramas. Comfortably seated, let yourself be guided to the rhythm of a soundtrack combining explanations and music.
