Getting around by bike The Breton Riviera focuses on sustainable mobility

The Breton Riviera has more than 75km of cycle routes to help you discover the region in a whole new way.

Here, you can take your time. You pedal, you breathe, you admire. In the Riviera Bretonne, soft mobility is not a constraint, it’s a real invitation to explore in a different way. Whether you’re heading for the beach, popping down to the market or linking up the local villages, the bike is your best travel companion.

Cycling tours explore the Breton Riviera differently

Fancy a cycling break?

The Fouesnant Tourist Office offers 7 cycling routes, accessible to all, so you can discover the area’s natural and heritage treasures at your own pace. These loops, which are partially developed, do not have dedicated signposting, but they are perfect for a leisurely ride in complete autonomy. A digital bike tour is a fun and interactive way to discover Fouesnant’s heritage!

For the more active, there are two signposted mountain bike trails:

  • Le Tour de Fouesnant (33 km)
  • Le Marais de Mousterlin (18 km)

Two ideal circuits to combine effort with a change of scenery.

The Vélolittorale: from Bénodet to La Forêt-Fouesnant, what a delight to cycle along the sea!

The Vélolittorale offers a superb stretch between Bénodet and La Forêt-Fouesnant, perfect for an outing with family or friends.
You’ll cycle between beaches, harbours and breathtaking panoramas, to the rhythm of the sea spray and the discoveries you’ll make.

This route, which is currently being upgraded, is part of the inter-municipal cycling scheme and will gradually be expanded to make the experience even more enjoyable and safer.
